About me

James Uphues was born and raised in Chicago, IL where he graduated high school and then moved to New York, NY to go to the School of Visual Arts. The one thing he’s always been passionate about is drawing, and would want nothing more than to animate for the rest of his life. His favorite shows are Naruto, Kaiba (2008), and One Piece. Besides animating, he is interested in marine biology and music.
